Les Mills International is a leading export focused business with 80 staff that franchises group fitness products throughout 70 countries around world. The business has a clear vision of adopting a leadership role in becoming a sustainable business.
Eleven people (including a key owner and board member as well as senior management and staff) participated in a day workshop to learn about and apply the Natural Step framework to the business. The workshop created significant engagement and understanding by staff in the drive for improved sustainability and developed a positive picture of how the business can become sustainable through a strategic and scientifically robust process. As a result of the workshop, management now has a number of decision-making tools to work effectively towards success as a sustainable business as well as a collectively agreed action plan to get the process underway.
